Tragic Incident in Nakuru Town
On Tuesday June 11, a shocking incident occurred in the Tanners area of Nakuru Town, where an M-Pesa attendant was shot and killed in a robbery. The victim, identified as Florida Khameta, operated an Mpesa shop next to a petrol station.
Details of the Incident
According to police reports, a gang armed with a pistol attacked Florida in the early hours of the morning while she was on duty. The assailants demanded money from her, but she resisted their order. In response, the gang opened fire, fatally shooting her and robbing her of her belongings.

Police Investigation
Despite the arrest of five suspects in connection with the incident, the weapon used in the shooting was not recovered. Police launched an operation in the area and recovered a black bag containing an ignition key belonging to the deceased, a spent cartridge, a blank 7.62mm, and a blue jungle ground sheet.
