A tragic accident occurred near Whiteville, North Carolina, resulting in the death of Kaiden Powell and injuries to three other minors. According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the incident took place on Friday, June 7, on Sunset Terrace, close to Chadbourn Highway/U.S. 74 Bus.
Details of the Accident
The four individuals were traveling north on Sunset Terrace when they decided to overtake a slower-moving vehicle. The passengers in the car were identified as Kainen Powell, Josh Lacewell, and Kamari Smith. Unfortunately, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and collide with a ditch. The impact of the crash led to the vehicle rolling over, resulting in three people being ejected and one partially ejected.
