He veered off the road and collided with a guardrail, resulting in a chain of devastating events.

The Unfortunate Consequences

The passengers in the vehicle were not wearing seat belts, leading to their ejection from the vehicle upon impact. This lack of safety measures proved fatal, with three passengers losing their lives at the scene. Two others were rushed to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville with serious yet non-life-threatening injuries.
