Adding to the heart-wrenching situation, the couple’s one-year-old child, Grayson Dennison, was also in the vehicle during the collision. Grayson was rushed to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Hospital before being transferred to Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Following the crash, Jay Bynum was airlifted to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for medical treatment.
