The mother of one of the teenage girls attacked by a shark in Walton County provided an update on her daughter’s condition. Three reported shark attacks occurred at two beaches about four miles away from each other. The first attack was at Watersound Beach, where a 45-year-old woman lost the lower part of her left hand but is in stable condition. The second and third attacks happened near Seacrest Beach, where 15 and 17-year-old girls were bitten. Lulu Gribbin suffered serious injuries to her upper leg and hand, while McCray Faust had minor injuries to her foot. A community prayer service was held at their home church.
