On Thursday, 6 June, at approximately 22:35hrs, police were called to reports of a stabbing in Carteret Way, SE8. Despite the efforts of officers and the London Ambulance Service, the victim, 21-year-old Robert Robinson, tragically died at the scene. Robert, who lived locally, has been identified as the victim of this brutal crime.

Leading the Met’s investigation is Detective Inspector Neil Tovey, who described the crime as horrific and committed by individuals who chose to arm themselves with weapons, causing harm to the community.
