Three People Killed by Lightning Strikes While Collecting Mangoes in Chapainawabganj
In a tragic incident on Friday, three people lost their lives due to lightning strikes while collecting mangoes in Shibganj and Bholahat upazilas of Chapainawabganj. The deceased have been identified as Bobby Bhakta, Kabita Khatun, and Amena Khatun.
Details of the Victims
Bobby Bhakta, the wife of Subhas Bhakta from Alidanga neighbourhood in Shibganj Municipality, was one of the victims of the lightning strikes. Kabita Khatun, the daughter of Ershad Ali Rakibul from Dakshin Paka Nishipara in Paka Union, Shibganj, also lost her life in the tragic incident. Amena Khatun, the daughter of Eslam Ali from Hothatpara Bargachi village in Bholahat Upazila, was the third victim of the lightning strikes.
Confirmation of the Incidents
Shibganj Upazila Project Implementation Officer, Engineer Ariful Islam, confirmed the incidents of lightning strikes that led to the untimely deaths of the three individuals. The entire community is in shock and mourning the loss of these lives due to the unfortunate turn of events.
