Deputy Witnesses Disturbance

According to reports, the first deputy to arrive at the scene witnessed a white male physically assaulting a white female, later identified as his mother. The deputy observed the male striking the female in the head with an object, prompting immediate action.

Despite giving verbal commands and deploying a taser, the deputy’s attempts to subdue the male suspect were unsuccessful. The male continued to assault his mother, leading the deputy to fire his service weapon, ultimately striking the suspect.

Victims Transported to Medical Facilities

Following the altercation, the female victim was transported by ambulance to North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Meanwhile, the male suspect was taken to Magnolia Regional Health Center for treatment of his injuries.
