Search for Suspect in Fatal Shooting at MGM National Harbor Hotel and Casino

The Homicide Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department is seeking the community’s help in locating a suspect in a recent fatal shooting at the parking garage of the MGM National Harbor Hotel and Casino. The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Dayon Neal of no fixed address, is wanted for the murder of 37-year-old Daniel Antonio Thomas of Washington, DC. A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The incident took place on May 11, 2024, around 4:50 am, when PGPD officers responded to a call from MGM Special Police and Security reporting a shooting at the 100 block of MGM National Avenue. Upon arrival, they found the victim in the parking garage with gunshot wounds, and unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Through diligent investigative work, Neal was identified as the suspect, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He faces charges of first and second-degree murder, along with related offenses. Details of the Incident
