A 14-year-old has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at the Houston Farmers Market, confirmed by the family of the victim, 36-year-old Damon Price. Teen Arrested in Connection with Deadly Shooting at Houston Farmers Market
HOUSTON – A 14-year-old has been taken into custody in connection with a deadly shooting at the Houston Farmers Market, the family of the man who was killed confirmed on Friday.
A family member of 36-year-old Damon Price says they were notified by police that the teen was in custody.
The shooting occurred early Thursday morning at the Houston Farmers Market on Airline Drive.
Suspects Attempting Theft Turn Deadly
According to police, the two suspects broke into a business and tried to steal a golf cart parked near the exit. An employee, later identified as Price, confronted them.

One of the suspects ended up shooting Price multiple times before fleeing the scene. Tragically, Price did not survive his injuries.
Police Seeking Two Young Hispanic Males
Police described the suspects as two very young Hispanic males wearing dark-colored hoodies. Surveillance footage captured the suspects in the act, and police have shared photos in hopes of identifying and locating them.
