The Georgia State Patrol has identified five people in their teens and 20s as the victims of a fatal crash in south Georgia. The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday night around 6:40 p.m. in Tift County. Investigators found that a car collided with a tractor-trailer on the highway, resulting in the death of all five individuals in the car. The victims have been named as Ephira Oddum, Serigne Mbodji, Dawan Nation, Aliyah Miles, and Christopher Dennis. Dennis was identified as the driver. According to investigators, the tragic incident unfolded when a car was travelling in the centre lane of the highway, while a tractor-trailer was parked on the right shoulder. The driver of the car veered off course and collided with the back of the stationary tractor-trailer, resulting in a devastating crash.

Tragically, all five occupants of the car lost their lives in the accident. The victims have been identified as Ephira Oddum, 19, from Riverdale; Serigne Mbodji, 22, from Atlanta; Dawan Nation, 19, from Dallas, Georgia; Aliyah Miles, 21, from Snellville; and Christopher Dennis, 21, from Hinesville.
Details surrounding the circumstances of the crash remain unclear, including whether the individuals in the car were related or where they were headed at the time of the incident. Christopher Dennis has been identified as the driver of the vehicle.
