Deputies later learned that “senior assassin” is a game played at Goddard High School, where students shoot at each other with water guns. The teenage girl who was shot stated that the driver of the blue car shot her and another teen with the gel blaster before driving off and parking in the Walmart parking lot. She and the other teen then went inside the store.

The Involvement of Ruben Contreras

Upon the arrival of the girl’s father, Ruben Contreras, at the Walmart, he confronted the teenagers who had shot his daughter. A loud pop was heard, and the blue vehicle driven by the teens crashed into shipping containers as it attempted to flee the scene.
