Authorities in Indiana are still identifying human remains found at the property of an alleged serial killer, Herb Baumeister, who died in 1996. The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office confirmed that human remains found in 1996 at Fox Hollow Farm have been identified as Jeffrey Jones, reported missing in 1993. This discovery is part of the ongoing investigation into more than 10,000 remains recovered at the Indiana property. Despite the challenges posed by burnt and crushed remains, law enforcement and forensic specialists are dedicated to the case. With the help of the FBI, Indiana State Police, and DNA experts, investigators are working to identify the remaining victims, with four DNA profiles still unidentified.

Gruesome Discovery at Fox Hollow Farm in Indiana
In a chilling turn of events, authorities in Indiana are still working to uncover the dark secrets hidden at an alleged serial killer’s property years after his demise. The infamous Herb Baumeister is believed to have lured young men to his residence in Westfield during the 1980s and 1990s, only to brutally murder them. Baumeister took his own life in 1996, leaving a trail of unanswered questions behind him.
Identification of Human Remains
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office recently revealed that human remains discovered at the 18-acre Fox Hollow Farm property in 1996 have now been positively identified as belonging to Jeffrey Jones. Jones had been reported missing in August 1993, adding a tragic layer to this already disturbing case.

Ongoing Investigation
Hamilton County coroner Jeff Jellison stated that Jones is the third individual to be identified from the extensive forensic examination of over 10,000 remains recovered at the Fox Hollow Farm property. The investigation remains a challenging task due to the condition in which many of the remains were found – burnt and crushed.

Unidentified Victims
Jellison revealed that investigators have obtained four additional DNA profiles that have yet to be linked to any known individuals, bringing the total number of victims to 12. These unidentified profiles will be forwarded to the FBI for further genetic genealogy investigation, in the hopes of shedding light on their identities and bringing closure to their families.
