The Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials have arrested Telugu film actor Hema for allegedly not cooperating in the investigations in the rave party case. Hema is the seventh accused in the case, with more arrests expected soon. The police raided a farmhouse in Electronics City on May 21, where they detained 100 people involved in the rave party. Medical examinations revealed that 86 people had consumed drugs. Hema tried to mislead the media by claiming innocence, but was later found to have recorded a video during the raid to mislead authorities. The CCB officials have also arrested a peddler involved in supplying drugs for the party.

The Central Crime Branch Arrests Telugu Film Actor Hema in Rave Party Case
On Monday, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials made a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation of a rave party case by arresting Telugu film actor Hema. This arrest comes after Hema allegedly failed to cooperate with the authorities in their probe into the matter.
Details of the Incident
The incident unfolded at a farmhouse located in Electronics City, where CCB officials conducted a raid on May 21. During the raid, they detained approximately 100 individuals who were attending a rave party organized under the banner ‘Sunset to Sunrise Victory’ by two individuals from Hyderabad.
Subsequent medical examinations revealed that 86 out of the 100 individuals had tested positive for drug consumption. Among the attendees were actors Hema and Ashi Roy, both of whom have now come under scrutiny in connection with the case.
Hema’s Attempt to Mislead Authorities
Following her involvement in the rave party, Hema attempted to mislead the media by claiming that her name had been falsely implicated, and she was not part of the guest list. She even went as far as posting a video from her farmhouse in her hometown, imploring the media not to tarnish her reputation. However, it later emerged that the video was recorded at the same farmhouse during the police raid, indicating a deliberate attempt to mislead the authorities.

In a related development, the police also apprehended a peddler named Imar Shariff, who was allegedly involved in supplying MDMA at the behest of the party organizers.
