The Chief of Kyethani Location, Mwikali Musili, confirmed the heartbreaking news, revealing that the suspect confessed to the brutal killing of the woman with whom he shared a romantic relationship.
According to a report by Citizen Digital, the motive behind this senseless act of violence stemmed from the suspect’s suspicions of his partner’s alleged infidelity with another man from Garissa. Chief Mwikali recounted the tragic events, stating, “The suspect says that he lived with the woman; they were a couple. Recently, another man from Garissa came, and the wrangles began.” The revelation of this suspected love triangle only added to the tragedy that had befallen the village.
The suspect, who was relatively unknown in the area, had previously worked for the deceased before their relationship took a romantic turn. Serah’s brother, Daniel Mbuvi, disclosed that the suspect had ominously hinted at his intention to take someone’s life during a family gathering. “I don’t know where Mbuvi hails from, but he has been staying here for some time. On Saturday, we had an event here, and he said someone in this homestead would die before the week ended,” Daniel Mbuvi recounted.
