According to the police, the driver will face charges of attempted murder among other offences. He was located in the Jacaranda area on Sunday night as he was reportedly preparing to flee the scene. It is believed that the driver was aware of the manhunt against him and had made plans to move to a different location within Nairobi.

Incident Details

The shocking incident occurred on Sunday morning after the driver, accompanied by another individual in a salon car, made a wrong U-turn at Mirema junction. As they tried to correct their mistake, the car ended up stuck in a ditch, attracting the attention of the police.

Corporal Jacob Ogendo arrived at the scene and assisted in removing the vehicle from the ditch. He then instructed the driver to proceed to Kasarani police station. However, upon reaching a supermarket in the vicinity, the driver suddenly brandished a sword, forcing the officer to jump out of the vehicle for his safety.
