Fatal Collision in Gazipur

Meanwhile, in Gazipur, a collision between a truck and a pick-up van claimed the lives of two individuals. The victims were identified as Chanchal Roy, the 30-year-old driver of the pick-up van from Sunamganj, and Ripon, aged 35 and a resident of Mohammadpur in Dhaka. Another individual, Md Mamun from Barishal, sustained injuries in the accident.

According to sources from the Mawna Fire Service, the pick-up van was speeding when it collided with a truck near the Jainabazar Road Divider area. Chanchal Roy tragically lost his life at the scene of the accident, while Ripon was rushed to Sreepur Upazila Health Complex, where he was pronounced dead by doctors. The injured Mamun is currently receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
