The incident occurred early in the morning when an unknown vehicle collided with a lorry carrying day labourers. The deceased were identified as lorry driver Chanchal Roy, 38, and passenger Ripon, 38. Another day labourer named Mamun was injured and taken to a nearby hospital. The police are investigating the accident, and the bodies will undergo autopsy at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital. In a tragic incident on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in Gazipur’s Sreepur upazila, two individuals lost their lives and another was injured when an unknown vehicle collided with a lorry carrying day labourers. The victims have been identified as lorry driver Chanchal Roy, aged 38, and passenger Ripon, also 38 years old. According to Mauna Highway Police Sub-Inspector Zahid Mia, the collision occurred in the early hours of the morning at Jaina Bazar area around 4:00am.
