The arrested suspects have been identified as Borjohna Hmar, Robert Lalmalsawn, Daniel Lalringhet, Bintu Singha, Rajen Singha, and Ekbar Hussain. Borjohna and Robert are residents of Manipur, while the others are from Cachar district.

Seizure in Karimganj

In Karimganj, the police seized a significant amount of cannabis during a search operation at a private travel agency. The operation was conducted based on specific information, resulting in the apprehension of an individual named Mustafa Ahmed. Karimganj SP Partha Pratim Das confirmed the seizure and stated that further investigation is ongoing.
