Authorities were summoned to the 6000 block of CR 148 at approximately 10:11 p.m. in response to a distressing situation. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies uncovered a disturbing scene where a 15-year-old boy and an adult had fallen victim to a violent stabbing attack. The 15-year-old had been hosting a sleepover when the assailant, a 16-year-old boy, unexpectedly arrived and forcefully entered the residence.

Tragically, the 16-year-old proceeded to stab the 15-year-old and threaten another individual present at the scene. In a valiant attempt to intervene, a man stepped forward and was also subjected to the vicious attack by the assailant. Both victims were promptly attended to and subsequently airlifted to nearby medical facilities for urgent medical care.

Arrest and Charges

The suspect attempted to flee the scene on foot but was swiftly apprehended with the assistance of the sheriff’s office helicopter.
