The scooter, carrying the young pillion rider Raylon Fernandes and the rider Aaron Furtado, was hit by the truck driven by Ramesh Bapu Patekar. The impact caused both individuals to fall onto the road, with Raylon succumbing to his injuries while being shifted to the hospital.
