The Nance County Dispatch received a report of a large party happening at an AirBnB rental property at 10:45 p.m. The reporting person mentioned the presence of loud music and several minors consuming alcohol, indicating a potential violation of local laws and regulations.

Chaos Unfolds

Upon arrival, Nance County Deputies were met with a scene of over 100 people and more than 20 vehicles on the property. The situation quickly escalated as partygoers attempted to flee upon seeing the deputies, leading to a chaotic series of events.

Deputies Injured

In the midst of the chaos, two Nance County Deputies sustained minor injuries after being struck by fleeing vehicles driven by the partygoers. The reckless behavior of the individuals involved not only endangered the deputies but also disrupted the peace of the surrounding area.

As a result of the incident, over 30 citations were issued for Minors in Possession of Alcohol, and hundreds of alcoholic beverages were confiscated from the property. Further charges are currently under investigation, highlighting the serious nature of the events that transpired.
