Man Killed in Hazelwood Neighborhood Shooting Identified

During the initial response to the shooting on Southeast Stark Street, officers provided first aid to Ankeny before he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Portland Police Homicide detectives are actively investigating the case.

As part of the investigation, Southeast 130th Avenue will be temporarily closed from Southeast Stark Street to Southeast Alder Street. The victim’s identity will be released after the Medical Examiner confirms the cause of death and the family has been informed.
