The Deceased

The two individuals who met their untimely demise were identified as Gandham Satyanarayana, aged 57, and Budhapu Narasimha Rao, aged 47. According to Penuganchiprolu Sub-Inspector P. Rambabu, the deceased had embarked on a journey with their friend Kangala Appa Rao in a lorry transporting coal from Anakapalli to a private cement factory in Jaggayyapet. Little did they know that this journey would end in tragedy, as they consumed alcohol relentlessly throughout the trip, leading to their unconscious state by the time they reached Nawabpet.

Upon realising the gravity of the situation, Appa Rao immediately stopped the lorry by the roadside on the national highway at Nawabpet and sought help by dialing the emergency services. Despite the best efforts of the 108 ambulance staff, it was too late, and the two men were pronounced dead on the scene.
