A father and his 12-year-old son, who were found dead after going missing in the Scottish Highlands, likely died as a result of a fall, according to police. Tom Parry, 49, and his son Richie, from Cheshire, did not return home after hillwalking in Glen Nevis and Glen Coe. Their bodies were recovered from Stob Coire nan Lochan, Glen Coe. The deaths are not considered suspicious. Tom was described as a caring father, while Richie was energetic and loved quizzes, maths, and sports. The Discovery

Their car was discovered in the Three Sisters car park in the area on Tuesday, sparking a search and rescue operation. Tragically, at about 7.25pm on Wednesday, rescuers found two bodies on Stob Coire nan Lochan, Glen Coe. The bodies were later identified as Tom Parry and his son Richie.

A Heartfelt Tribute

Gemma Parry, Tom’s wife and Richie’s mother, expressed her deep sorrow and gratitude towards the Scottish and Cheshire police, as well as the mountain rescue service, for their efforts in finding her loved ones. She described Tom as a caring and loving father, while Richie was remembered as an energetic and loving boy who had a passion for quizzes, maths, and sports.
