Senior Deputy Prosecutor Laurel Smith stated that she anticipates filing additional charges against Holbrook based on new information since the warrant was authorized on May 20. She revealed that Holbrook confessed to touching a number of other children when contacted by police in Oregon. Investigators have identified four victims, and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office has notified other law enforcement agencies in Washington and Oregon of possible crimes that occurred in their jurisdictions.

Allegations of Misconduct
Investigators received a report from Child Protective Services that a 5-year-old boy who attended the Salmon Creek child care center claimed that his teacher, identified as Holbrook, took photos of his genitals with his cellphone in March. When deputies questioned Holbrook, he denied taking photos and stated that he only helped the boy adjust his underwear behind a bookshelf.
Incriminating Evidence
Further investigation revealed sexually explicit videos of children on Holbrook’s phone, as well as a group chat discussing child sex abuse. Surveillance footage from the child care center captured Holbrook with his phone near the boy, and flashes from the phone were visible in the video. Although no photos of the boy were found on Holbrook’s phone, images and videos of other children engaged in sexually suggestive acts were discovered.
