Arkansas State Police are seeking information regarding a fatal hit-and-run in Hempstead County that resulted in the death of a Texarkana, Texas man. The incident occurred at the 28-mile marker on Interstate 30 westbound near Hope. The victim, identified as Cameron Evans, 33, was found unresponsive on the shoulder of the road and pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses reported seeing Evans walking away from a store in Hope prior to the incident. ASP’s Criminal Investigation Division is urging anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious or has information about a suspect vehicle to contact them at 870-777-8944.

Arkansas State Police are appealing for information from the public following a fatal hit-and-run incident in Hempstead County that claimed the life of a Texarkana, Texas, man. The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday morning at the 28-mile marker on Interstate 30 westbound near Hope.
The victim, identified as 33-year-old Cameron Evans, was found unresponsive on the shoulder of the road and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hempstead County Coroner. Witnesses reported that Evans had been walking away from a store in Hope prior to the tragic incident.
