On a fateful night, tragedy struck in Colorado Springs as 30-year-old Peter Espino lost his life in a fatal shooting incident. Upon arrival, officers found Espino with at least one gunshot wound, and sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Identification and Investigation

Three days after the tragic event, the El Paso County Coroner’s Office officially identified Peter Espino as the victim of the shooting. While the cause and manner of death are yet to be determined by the coroner’s office, CSPD is treating the case as a homicide. As of now, no suspect has been taken into custody, and detectives are actively pursuing leads to bring justice to Espino and his loved ones.
