On Saturday, the Franklin Police Department received a distressing 911 call reporting a gunshot wound to the right shoulder of the victim, identified as Lily Basil. The caller, who was transporting Basil to the hospital, pulled over at Murfreesboro Road near Carothers Parkway to await EMS assistance.
