On May 29, the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office (NPSO) detectives are appealing to the public for information on a cold case double homicide that occurred almost six years ago in the Payne subdivision. The incident took place on Aug. 8, at 1:42 a.m., when deputies found two men with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. The victims, Cordarious Cortez Smith and Rodney D. The Tragic Double Homicide in Natchitoches
In the quiet town of Natchitoches, Louisiana, a horrific incident unfolded on August 8 at 1:42 a.m. Two young men, Cordarious Cortez Smith and Rodney D. The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls reporting shots fired in the 200 block of Michelle Drive, located off of Louisiana Highway 6 East in the Grand Ecore area of Natchitoches.
