Kent Police in the UK are investigating a driver for vehicular homicide after a fatal crash in Kent. The driver allegedly ran a red light and collided with two cars, resulting in the death of another driver. The incident occurred at the intersection of Central Ave. N and E Smith St. Witnesses reported that a Tesla ran the red light, causing the collision. The driver of the red Prius, a 30-year-old man from Puyallup, died from his injuries. The driver of the Tesla, a 23-year-old man from Spanaway, was arrested. Kent Police are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Authorities in Kent, United Kingdom, are currently investigating a driver for vehicular homicide after a tragic accident that claimed the life of another driver. The incident took place at the intersection of Central Ave. N and E Smith St., where multiple vehicles were involved in a devastating collision.
Reports came in around 9:48 p.m. on Wednesday, prompting multiple Kent Police officers to respond to the scene. Witnesses described a chaotic scene with several occupants trapped inside their vehicles following the crash.
Upon arrival, emergency responders found the driver of a red Prius unconscious in his vehicle. Despite efforts to save him, the 30-year-old man from Puyallup succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to a nearby hospital.
Details of the Incident
According to Kent Police, eyewitnesses recounted that a Tesla ran a red light at the intersection, causing a collision with both a gray Prius and the red Prius driven by the victim. The impact was so severe that the red Prius was pushed into a nearby wall after pulling out of a restaurant parking lot.
Two of the three occupants in the Tesla sustained significant injuries and were promptly transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. The driver, a 23-year-old man from Spanaway, was arrested following the incident, with authorities conducting tests to determine if intoxicants were involved.
As the investigation continues, Kent Police are working diligently to uncover the circumstances that led to the tragic crash. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an examination to determine the exact cause of death for the driver of the red Prius.
