In a tragic incident in Agra, a 38-year-old woman named Rani was killed after she jumped onto the railway track to scare her live-in partner, Kishore. The incident occurred at Raja Ki Mandi railway station around 11:08 pm on Monday. Rani had a heated argument with Kishore over his drinking habits, leading her to threaten suicide by jumping in front of a train. Despite efforts to climb back onto the platform, she got stuck between the train and the platform and succumbed to her injuries at SN Medical College. Rani, who had three sons from a previous marriage, had been in a relationship with Kishore for over a year.

In a tragic incident that took place at the Raja Ki Mandi railway station in Agra, a 38-year-old woman named Rani lost her life after being hit by a train. The shocking incident occurred on Monday night at around 11:08 pm, sending shockwaves through the local community.

Argument Escalates into Tragic Outcome

The unfortunate incident unfolded after Rani, who was in a live-in relationship with Kishore, got into a heated argument with him over his drinking habits. The argument escalated to a point where Rani threatened to commit suicide by jumping in front of a train. In a bid to scare her partner, she led him to the railway station, where they both sat on chairs at platform No 2.

Tragic Turn of Events

As tensions rose, Rani made the drastic decision to jump onto the railway tracks, putting her own life in danger. Tragically, she did not notice the Kerala Express train approaching and, in a desperate attempt to climb back onto the platform, she got trapped between the train and the platform.

Swift Response and Unfortunate Outcome

The Railway Police Force (RPF) acted swiftly to rescue Rani from under the train and rushed her to SN Medical College for treatment. However, despite their efforts, she succumbed to her injuries. Her body was later sent for a post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.

Background and Family Details

Rani, who had three sons from a previous marriage, lived with two of her children while her eldest son resided separately. According to reports, Kishore informed the authorities that Rani had a troubled past, including the death of her ex-husband due to his excessive drinking.

Inspector Samar Bahadur, in charge of the GRP Cantonment, mentioned that no formal complaint had been lodged at the time of the incident.
