Prajwal Revanna To Return To Bengaluru Amidst Obscene Video Case Allegations

New Delhi: Prajwal Revanna, the suspended JD(S) leader and Karnataka MP embroiled in an obscene video scandal, is set to depart from Munich, Germany, and return to Bengaluru on May 30, according to sources. It is anticipated that Prajwal will touch down in the early hours of May 31, marking the latest development in the ongoing controversy surrounding him.

Having left India in April following the emergence of explicit video clips allegedly depicting him engaging in sexual misconduct with multiple women, Prajwal’s imminent return has sparked widespread interest and speculation. The scandal, which has gripped social media in Karnataka, has led to a series of arrests and investigations by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).

Earlier, Prajwal Revanna, in a self-made video released on Monday, said that he will appear before the Special Investigative Team (SIT) on May 31 for questioning.

Earlier, Prajwal Revanna, in a self-made video released on Monday, said that he will appear before the Special Investigative Team (SIT) on May 31 for questioning.

Recent developments saw the SIT apprehend two key suspects in the Prajwal Revanna obscene video case, identified as Naveen Gowda and Chetan. The duo was taken into custody on charges related to the distribution of pen drives containing explicit content allegedly involving Prajwal Revanna.

Authorities revealed that the arrests were made in response to the suspects’ application for anticipatory bail before the High Court. Chetan Gowda and Naveen Gowda stand accused of circulating videos purportedly showing Prajwal Revanna engaging in inappropriate behavior with women.

In a video statement released earlier, Prajwal Revanna confirmed his intention to cooperate with the SIT’s investigation upon his return to India. He expressed disbelief at the timing of the allegations, citing a lack of legal issues during the general elections in April when he was abroad.

Accusing political rivals of orchestrating a smear campaign against him due to his rising stature in politics, Revanna underscored his commitment to addressing the allegations transparently and lawfully.
