The Investigation Continues in the Bangladesh MP Murder Case

A shocking incident has rocked Kolkata as the investigation into the murder of Bangladesh MP Anwarul Azim Anar unfolds. The chief of the Bangladesh Detective Department, Harun-ur-Rashid, has revealed that they have obtained circumstantial evidence in the case. Further inspections are now underway into the sewage line connected to the duplex flat where the heinous crime took place.

A Gruesome Discovery

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan of Bangladesh disclosed that Anar, who had mysteriously disappeared in India, was found murdered in Kolkata on May 22. As the investigation progresses, three individuals have been apprehended in connection with the murder.

Harun-ur-Rashid stated, “We conducted an inspection of the sewage line linked to the duplex flat where the murder occurred, with the assistance of the West Bengal CID. The entire sewage line was dismantled with the aid of CID West Bengal. The prime suspect is currently being interrogated at the CID West Bengal headquarters.”

A Collaborative Effort

The Chief of the Bangladesh Detective Department is currently in India to spearhead the investigation into the brutal murder of the Bangladeshi MP. He mentioned, “We have collected numerous digital evidences and will be recording the statement of the prime suspect. We will cross-reference the statement with our suspects in Bangladesh, as well as examine the circumstantial evidence gathered.”

Harun-ur-Rashid, along with a team of police officers, arrived in Kolkata to seek assistance from Interpol and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in tracking down the primary suspect in the case. The main suspect has been identified as Akhtaruzzaman, and investigators suspect that he may have fled to the United States via Dubai from Kathmandu.

A Chilling Revelation

The details surrounding the murder of the Bangladeshi MP have sent shockwaves through the region. The parliamentarian, who went missing on May 13 shortly after arriving in Kolkata, was allegedly murdered in an apartment in the city.

According to reports, the suspects gruesomely dismembered the body, packaging the remains in multiple plastic bags in an attempt to conceal the crime. The CID revealed that one of the suspects, a butcher from Mumbai, confessed to skinning the MP’s body, chopping it up, and mincing the parts to erase any identifying features.

As the investigation intensifies, authorities are determined to bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice and ensure that such atrocities are not repeated in the future.
