The Noida police arrest IRS officer for murder
The Noida police made a shocking discovery on Sunday when they arrested an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer on charges of murder. The incident took place at the officer’s rented accommodation in Sector 100, where the body of his woman friend was found. The accused, identified as Saurabh Meena, 35, hails from Rajasthan and currently resides in Lotus Boulevard Society.

The police were alerted to the situation on Saturday around 4 pm, with reports suggesting that a woman, also 35 years old, had died by suicide at a high rise in Sector 100. When the police arrived at the scene, they were met by Meena and the society’s security guards, who had broken down the door to gain entry.
Additional DCP Manish Kumar Mishra stated, “The accused Saurabh has been taken into custody and placed in judicial custody. The family members of the deceased have accused him of involvement in the incident, leading to the registration of an FIR under Section 302 for murder.
