Strawberry Mansion Slaying
Less than an hour later, at approximately 10:57 p.m., police responded to reports of gunshots in the area of the 2500 block of Stanley Street and the adjacent 3000 block of Cumberland Street. While no victim was initially found, officers discovered over 20 shell casings from a 9mm firearm. Shortly after, a 23-year-old man arrived at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds to his neck and chest. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries, later identified as Anthony Turner.
