The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is seeking additional victims in connection with a sexual assault on a child investigation. On May 16, 2024, a juvenile victim was approached from behind and assaulted in the 300 block of N. Tejon St. The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Deangelo Terry, had previously been arrested for a similar offense in February 2023. On May 24, 2024, Terry was taken into custody by Crimes Against Children Unit detectives. CSPD is actively seeking information on any unreported incidents involving a light-skinned black male, approximately 6’2”, 155 pounds, with shaved hair, dark facial hair, and brown eyes. Colorado Springs Police Department Investigating Sexual Assault on a Child
The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is currently seeking additional victims in connection with an ongoing investigation into a sexual assault on a child. The incident took place on May 16, 2024, at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the 300 block of N. Tejon St. The suspect approached a juvenile victim from behind and made inappropriate contact before fleeing the scene on foot.
Suspect Identified as Deangelo Terry
Police have identified the suspect as 24-year-old Deangelo Terry, who was previously arrested for attempted sexual assault on a child in February 2023. Terry was taken into custody by the Crimes Against Children Unit detectives on May 24, 2024, without incident.

CSPD is actively seeking any additional information related to the case. They are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who may have had similar encounters with a light-skinned black male, approximately 6’2” tall, weighing 155 pounds, with shaved hair, dark facial hair, and brown eyes. These incidents may have involved unwanted advances or exposure in and around the downtown area of Colorado Springs.
