A 17-year-old was struck near the junction of Fairfield and Clinton avenues in Bridgeport as he tried to cross the road, according to police. The male victim, a resident of Bridgeport, was taken to Bridgeport Hospital and is in critical but stable condition. The 22-year-old driver of the 2012 grey Honda Accord, also from Bridgeport, was uninjured. A male passenger, 18, from Bridgeport, was also unharmed. The victim, whose name has not been released, was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment. The driver of the 2012 gray Honda Accord involved in the collision, a 22-year-old also from Bridgeport, did not sustain any injuries. A passenger in the vehicle, an 18-year-old male from Bridgeport, was unharmed as well.
