A 17-year-old was struck near the junction of Fairfield and Clinton avenues in Bridgeport as he tried to cross the road, according to police. The male victim, a resident of Bridgeport, was taken to Bridgeport Hospital and is in critical but stable condition. The 22-year-old driver of the 2012 grey Honda Accord, also from Bridgeport, was uninjured. A male passenger, 18, from Bridgeport, was also unharmed.
