Tragic Accident Claims Two Lives in Chitwan
Chitwan, a picturesque district in Nepal known for its lush forests and diverse wildlife, was marred by tragedy on Sunday night. A road accident on the Narayanghat-Mugling road section has left two individuals dead and several others injured.
Victims identified
The victims of the accident have been identified as 13-year-old Soyan Pun of Naubahini Rural Municipality-13, Pyuthan, and 29-year-old co-driver Rajan Subedi of Bahrabise Municipality, Sindupalchowk district. The young Pun tragically lost his life at the scene of the accident, while Subedi fought for his life but succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
Details of the Incident
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Spokesperson for the District Police Office in Chitwan, Bhesh Raj Rijal, revealed that the accident occurred when four vehicles collided with each other at Satra Kilo of Bharatpur Metropolis-29 along the Narayanghat-Mugling road. Among the injured, 21 individuals are currently receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
