Yet another heartbreaking incident occurred during the recent storm caused by Cyclone Remal in Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira district. The victim, Shawkot Hossain Morol, a 65-year-old resident of Napitkhali village under Gabura union, met with a tragic end while attempting to seek shelter.
Details of the Incident
According to Masudul Alam, chairman of Gabura Union Parishad, Shawkot was on his way to the shelter on his bicycle around 7:30 pm on Sunday evening. Unfortunately, he slipped and fell on the road, leading to his untimely death. Despite efforts to revive him, Shawkot passed away at the scene.
Suspected Cause of Death
Local residents speculated that Shawkot may have suffered a heart attack, as there were no visible injury marks on his body. The sudden and tragic nature of his passing has left the community in shock and mourning.
