According to Masudul Alam, chairman of Gabura Union Parishad, Shawkot was on his way to the shelter on his bicycle around 7:30 pm on Sunday evening. Unfortunately, he slipped and fell on the road, leading to his untimely death. Despite efforts to revive him, Shawkot passed away at the scene.
