Hamilton police have identified a man wanted in connection with a shootout that occurred in broad daylight two weeks ago in the city’s east end. Two men were involved in a gunfight with the driver of a Nissan vehicle on May 13 in the area of Barton Street East and Kinrade Avenue. The driver, identified as 25-year-old Malcolm Davis, struck two vehicles as he tried to flee, crashed near Gibson Avenue, and fled on foot. Davis is wanted for reckless discharge of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession of a loaded prohibited firearm. Police urge anyone with information to contact them immediately.
