Rising Incidents in the US:

In recent times, there has been a concerning trend of tragic accidents involving Indian students studying in the USA. The unfortunate demise of Andhra-origin student, Belem Achyuth, at State University of New York (SUNY) due to a bike accident on May 24, and the mysterious disappearance of Telugu student, Rupesh Chandra Chintakindi, from Chicago since May 2, have further compounded the sense of loss within the Indian student community.

Additionally, the heartbreaking case of Jahnavi Kandula, who lost her life after being struck by a police cruiser in Seattle last year, serves as a grim reminder of the risks faced by Telugu-origin students abroad. Earlier in January, two 22-year-old Telugu students were found deceased in Hartford, Connecticut, having tragically succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning from a faulty room heater.
