Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Mason Family Members in Georgia

Tragedy struck the Mason family in Georgia last week when a multi-vehicle crash on I-75 claimed the lives of four family members. The horrific incident occurred on May 19, resulting in the untimely deaths of Dakarai Mason, 43, Erin Mason, 35, and 14-year-old Brandon Crawford. The family was travelling northbound in their Kia when their van veered off the roadway, crossed the grass median, and entered the southbound lanes of I-75.

The Kia van collided with a Chevy Tahoe and a Toyota 4Runner, leading to a chain reaction of collisions involving other vehicles. Three occupants in the Kia were pronounced dead at the scene, while two juveniles, siblings Titus, 6, and Noah Mason, were rushed to the hospital. Tragically, Titus succumbed to his injuries on May 22, but his brother Noah miraculously survived and has since been released from the hospital.

Five-year-old Noah Mason’s incredible survival has brought a ray of hope to the grieving family. Despite the immense loss they have suffered, Noah’s grandmother expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers they have received. She mentioned in a statement posted on the GoFundMe page that Noah still has a long road to recovery ahead, but the outlook is promising.

The tragedy has brought the community together, with an outpouring of support for the Mason family. The GoFundMe page set up on their behalf has raised over $60,000 to help cover Noah’s medical expenses.
