Richard M. Sherman, one half of the legendary songwriting duo the Sherman Brothers, has sadly passed away at the age of 95. The news of his death was confirmed by his family, who stated that he passed away peacefully at his home in London.
Sherman, along with his brother Robert B. Sherman, wrote some of the most iconic songs in the history of film and theatre. Their work included classics such as “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins and “It’s a Small World” from the Disney theme park attraction of the same name.
