The police have charged the building owner under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for negligence. With nine individuals successfully rescued from the inferno, the DFS Chief Atul Garg shared insights into the emergency response. According to Garg, the fire was reported at 2.35 a.m., and the flames were finally extinguished by 7.20 a.m. It was revealed that the initial source of the fire was the two-wheelers parked in the building’s designated parking area.
