The sub-divisional officer of police (SDOP) of Sidhi, Roshni Singh Thakur, will lead the SIT in uncovering the full extent of the crime. The police have recovered a total of 16 mobile phones from the possession of the arrested accused, indicating the scale of their criminal activities.

During interrogation, Brijesh Prajapati revealed that he had previously worked at a steel factory in Jabalpur, where he suffered severe burns in an explosion. Following this incident, he moved to Gujarat before returning to Sidhi with the twisted plan to prey on unsuspecting college students. Prajapati’s criminal activities were carried out under the cover of darkness, with him wearing a helmet and gloves to conceal his identity.
