The driver, a 17-year-old male juvenile from Edina, Missouri, lost control of the car on the wet roadway, veered off the left side of the road, and collided with a ditch.
The juvenile driver, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, suffered minor injuries and was promptly taken to Samaritan Hospital by Monroe County Ambulance for treatment.
