A young man lost his life in a heartbreaking incident that took place at a stone quarry in the picturesque city of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The deceased, identified as Dinesh Meena, a resident of Udaipur, tragically drowned after jumping into the water from a staggering height of 150 feet.
Dinesh had ventured to the quarry with four of his friends, with the intention of capturing social media content. The day took a devastating turn when one of his friends accidentally slipped off the cliff and plunged into the water. Thankfully, the friend managed to escape unharmed.
Undeterred by the earlier mishap, Dinesh made the fateful decision to leap into the water from a dizzying height. As time passed without his emergence from the water, his friends grew increasingly anxious and alerted the authorities.

Upon receiving the distress call, local police and divers sprang into action. After an intense search operation lasting three hours, Dinesh’s lifeless body was recovered from the depths of the water.
Speaking about the tragic incident, Civil Security Department diver Naresh Chaudhry recounted the harrowing details of the retrieval operation. He confirmed that Dinesh Meena had indeed drowned after the perilous jump.
The authorities have since taken custody of the deceased youth’s body, which has been transferred to the mortuary of MB Hospital. The family of Dinesh Meena has been notified of the devastating turn of events, plunging them into profound grief.
