The Traumatic Audition
Under the guise of an audition, the woman visited Anand’s residence in the Nalasopara area of Palghar district. It was during this supposed audition that the accused committed the heinous act of rape, violating the woman’s trust and dignity.
Brave Action and Legal Consequences
Despite facing physical assault and threats from the perpetrator, the woman displayed immense courage by reporting the incident to the authorities. An FIR was promptly filed, citing Sections 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.

Following the swift action taken by the police, Anand Singh was apprehended and presented before a local court. Subsequently, he was remanded to police custody for further investigation, ensuring that justice is served for the victim.
