Man Arrested in Connection with Mother’s Death in San Jose

A 34-year-old man from San Jose has been taken into custody in relation to the tragic death of his mother. The incident took place at a residence in the 200 block of Shadow Dance Drive in San Jose, California. Law enforcement officers responded to a call regarding suspicious circumstances at around 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, leading to the discovery of an unconscious and unresponsive woman.

Regrettably, the woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office will release her identity once it has been confirmed, and her next of kin has been notified. This heartbreaking event marks the 14th homicide in San Jose this year, a concerning increase compared to the same period last year.

The victim’s adult son, identified as Roger Le, was apprehended and taken to the Santa Clara County Main Jail in San Jose.
